  • Make sure all your home’s supply and return air vents are not obstructed by furniture, pets, or large appliances
  • Make sure children, teens, and visiting house guests are not leaving personal items like backpacks, clothing, or toys in places that may block the vents
  • Simple things like using blinds or curtains to block windows in rooms that face the sun, helping to keep the room cool.
  • If your home is not mechanically zoned already, you may have manual dampers that require adjustsments by you each season to optimize air flow through your ductwork
